I NEED HELP
People with eating and body concerns sometimes also experience very high levels of distress or hopelessness. These may lead to thoughts about committing suicide or to self-harm behaviours. Take a moment to think about your levels of distress.
- Have you been struggling to cope with intense feelings of distress?
- Have you felt hopeless, like things will never get better?
- Have you thought about, or wanted to commit suicide (i.e., wanting to end your life)?
- Have you thought about, or engaged in self-harm behaviours (i.e., deliberately hurt yourself)?
If you answered yes to any of these questions or have concerns for your safety, seek immediate help.
