The service includes a specialist early intervention program for assessment, consultation and treatment services for young people aged up to 25 years in the Barwon region.

The catchment area for this service includes Southern Health, Peninsula Health and Gippsland regions.  To assist GPs and other primary care providers, the Wellness and Recovery Centre (WRC) also offers a specialty secondary consultation service.

Some are also major providers of a range of health and human services including drug and alcohol, disability, dental, post-acute care, home and community care, mental health services and community rehabilitation.

Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing in mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.

Mindful Moderate Eating Group
Minimum age:  18 years

‘Mindful Moderate Eating Group’ – Swinburne University Psychology Clinic – a women only group program addressing psychological factors related to binge eating and helping participants to develop a new relationship with food.

Provides private psychology sessions for people experiencing eating disorders and related issues, as well as for family and friends who are supporting a loved one.
Sessions are currently available in Abbotsford and all of our psychologists have expertise in the field of eating disorders.

RIPE Group is a 14 week specially developed treatment and support program for people with Eating Disorders
