InnovatED: Bridging eating disorder care from adolescence to adulthood

CEED brings together clinicians, researchers, lived experience advocates, service leaders, educators, and policy stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to eating disorder care for young adults.

How do we better understand and respond to the person behind the diagnosis?

Young adults with eating disorders are not defined solely by symptoms or treatment pathways. Their experiences are shaped by identity, culture, neurobiology, family relationships, developmental stage, life experiences, strengths, and aspirations. This forum provides an opportunity to examine how services can move beyond a one-size-fits-all approach and deliver truly person-centred care.

A Shared Goal

Together, we will explore the diverse experiences of emerging adults with eating disorders, share innovative approaches to care, strengthen collaboration across the sector, and generate new ideas to improve outcomes. Our shared goal is to move beyond diagnosis and foster compassionate, inclusive, developmentally informed care that responds to the unique needs of each young person.
